You presented a dynamite, energetic performance and your voice sounded great. It was a lot of fun for Janice and I to be there to share in the evening with you and the guys.  You're a wonderful lady and they all are a great, fun bunch of guys.  And you're all very talented.  The video clips on your site came out quite well.  I wished the sound engineer could have got your voice up better in the mix (for live and the recording).  Although it seems to be up there more in "Dark Chest of Wonders".  Regardless,... I think the clips show a creative, and talented show that was full of energy.  It should make Nightwish curious enough that they'd consider sending you a plane ticket for a live audition.  They'd be fools not to consider you because you have a great voice as well as impressive stage presence.  Jeff Wyatt (aka 'Jesus' - the background voice in our live 'The Kinslayer' - see video on Multimedia page)

One of the most powerful voices I ever had the pleasure to play with.  Absolutely enjoy your singing and professionalism. Your range gives me ideas of projects for the future, such as the type of songs to do.  (after Sept. '06 jam)  Victor Yong (guitarist for Caldo Verde, Orient Express, 7th Avenue & guitarist for me at Bellingham KISM interview in Mar. '06 & guitarist for Solar Fire in Media Club Gig Dec '06)

Great playing with you on Dark Chest of Wonders, Highway Star and others. Your range is totally awesome - from opera to metal - can't beat this combination.  We were all blown away by your vocal performance and stage presence.  Nightwish should give you a special listen/audition.  Looking forward to working with you on future projects.  (after Sept. '06 jam)  Thomas Yee (guitarist for Solar Fire, Nightshift & 7th Avenue)

Yes, I did receive the DVD.  Thanks!  I think that despite the poor sound quality, it turned out well. When I could hear your voice, your range absolutely blew me away.  I still do not know how you can hit those high notes.  Amazing!  I truly hope that (if not Nightwish), that others will discover your talents and you will be able to share your voice with the rest of the world. You need to be heard!  Rolf Popp (drummer for Solar Fire)

I am just mesmerized by your amazing CD!  Thanks for all of your hard work.  I find the whole thing an excellent collection of work.  Your lyrics are lingering in my ears all the time....that spells out hit factor!  You are passionate, intense, and deeply honest.  I love your profound lyrics and feel like a kinship, through your music.  I do hope to get together in the new year :-) The music is wonderful and it's a terrific combo of writing and sounds. Sahara Exodus - Free Thinkers Club

...[CD is] a very well produced, engineered and performed piece of work.  Most demos we receive do not sound as good.  Fraser Hill (Director of A & R at EMI Music Canada)

I do yoga and pilates and dance with a couple of friends each evening to keep fit and unstressed - so we do listen to our music.  All really enjoy yours.  Thank you! C.H. -  South Africa

The lady [Tracy] is an amazing opera singer. I LOVED it all...her singing was beyond WONDERFUL for my soul. Vicky Dayman - South Surrey, BC

Tracy, I was able to check out all of the audio clips that you just posted and I absolutely can't wait to hear the whole thing. The little bits I heard sounded just awesome. I was very excited to hear how much work was put into this thing. The singing and the production rocks. Hats off to you !!!!! Kelly Stodola

Hi Tracy, I checked out the new website and listened to the clips today. Wow! The site looks great. And the songs and your style are very unique - you blend so many styles (I hear things that remind me of musical theatre, Heart, Queen, and of course folk). Your voice sounds very high-quality - you have both great control and expression. The background vocals sound exquisite - they have that rich operatic sound that Queen's harmonies did. Nice work. Congratulations! Heidi McCurdy

"First free the blacks... then free the slaves"  Right on.  Feels almost like you might be tuning into some Demise of Atlantis vibes in Glorious Days.  I had a moment during Glorious Days where I could imagine collective yearning for freedom across time.  The sun burst through the clouds during Abundance, which was pretty sweet... I finished listening to the CD hours ago, and I had to take some time before responding.  The last few tracks really moved me.  I'm pretty impressed and really grateful that you sent me a copy.  Near the end of Which Step Shall I Take, I started thinking about how fucked up North America is. Like the sheer number of people who are mind controlled... Like how much I have allowed myself to be mind controlled. I mean only just barely probing that issue.  I got that feeling of kind of sick - like the feeling of when you have a "bad trip" on a psychadelic - like "something is really wrong here." ...  It's Up to Us moved me to tears.  Near the end I was thinking, "Oh yeah, I can just leave the continent" - which is an option to me soon.  I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a huge relief when I thought of that. (Maybe that's my unconscious telling me something)  Then I thought, "there are other people who intend to carry light into this system too... "  So I set some great intents today on my full moon paper.  What I want to say though is I think this CD shines with massive courage. That hit me too, big time... I think my experience of the last track was like being hit with a sense of the courage it takes to carry light into this system. Especially if you actually look at what was giving me the psychadelic sickies.  So I'm really proud to be your friend, and to hear you say and sing some of the stuff on this CD.  G.H. - friend

...~ the video's awesome!  You are truly a rocker... Good luck with Nightwish...I think you'd be an awesome addition!!!  Much success to you sistah :) Faith Rivera

Watched your video......you sure rock it out! Terry O'Brien (SOCAN) (the Seattle performance video from 1993)

This is quite a good production Tracy, one you should be very proud of and yep 'Glorious Days' is surely going to become one of the best received ones on your cd.  We both agreed that all the songs were very good, and the studio mix was very tight and you have now got something you can market and hopefully will attract the music industry's favorable scrutiny, resulting in a well deserved contract for you. Mark & Cathy Phillips

'CD RELEASE A FORM OF EMPOWERMENT' 'South Surrey resident Tracy Forsyth's powerful voice is matched by equally effective lyrics and original music' -- After lyrics of three of the songs are quoted the article states: '(songs)...are an unapologetic gauntlet thrown down to those who believe pop songs should be nothing but superficial'.... 'She's also been busy performing in...The Perfect Breadbox (where her ability to nail high notes was used to advantage)...' Alex Browne (Peace Arch Newspaper)

Tracy has magnificent range, with much presence and a very striking appearance.  Myles Murchison (Writer and director of 'The Perfect Breadbox')

The 'talent' expressed and the 'artistry' of the work is superb...a beautiful, mature and strong voice.  Bernice Peterson

I saw colours, brilliant colours coming from you when you were singing-that's never happened to me before! Cory Johnson

You can sense that the musical gift she shares comes from her Soul...the vocals are clear and crisp, the musicians are high quality for sure, and the whole thing fits together well.  You got me into the wide spectrum of feelings and I really like the message of the last song, 'It's Up To Us'.  Congratulations on your success! Penny Detwiller

What a Powerful voice! Angelic.

The resonance was amazing!

I was amazed by your singing...you clearly have a lot of talent! I can honestly say it's very unique.  I feel that Folk may be the closest although folk is a little more relaxed typically.  Its really difficult to say, I do believe however that it would not fall under pop or even rock.  Your voice is strong and beautiful.  I had a wonderful smile on my face when listening for the first time.  Roxy Edey

Plus ALL the times this compliment has been made: "You have a Beautiful voice!"
