Dec 31: I've completed over 30,000 words for my book.  It feels great.

Dec 28: TVRS put on a great show at the Backstage Lounge.  Superb musicians for sure!

Dec 20: (Oct 10) $500 is refunded to me so far from one credit card company.  The other $500 is coming very soon.

Dec 10: Recuperating from my surgery and it's as good a time as ever to start writing: I'm well on my way in writing my book.  It has been long awaited and is coming along very well.

Oct 10: I purchased jewellery at a jewellery store in Los Cabos, Mexico and the majority of the jewellery was fake - it was not worth what I paid for it.  They even gave me certificates of (supposed) authenticity. The purchase price was $1000 over the value.  Don't go to Hernandez Gold Factory unless you want to be ripped off.  I am in the midst of getting my money back from the credit card companies.  I feel very sorry for people and stores that feel they need to stoop that low.  Even Mexico as a whole I feel sorry for if that's what the country produces and allows.  Here is a photo of their shopping bag:

Dr. Bowman spent several years as an unpaid “People’s Lobbyist” to Congress. July 19: Solar Fire has rejoined and are looking forward to more great music & more great times!  Adding another Nightwish song to the next rehearsal.  More CD's have sold, now some to Australia.

June 27-29: Attended a Sound Healing Workshop by 'Songs the Body Knows'.  A much needed wonderful experience.

Mar 3: Attended the Queensryche concert in Seattle & the Iron Maidens (female tribute to Iron Maiden) show in Olympia - both on the weekend.  Great shows!  Photos of the Iron Maidens:

Feb. 28: Ryan McCann & I edited the video clips of the Dec. 30th performances last night.  Contact me for viewing.   

Feb. 15: Scott gave the DJ's on Bro Jake's show at Rock 101 some wood carved gifts. Corrie received a beautiful 'Wolves Kissing' wall plaque & Bro Jake & Marty Strong and one of the receptionists received jewellery boxes each.  On the air Corrie & the guys thanked Scott for the gifts. Corrie called Scott "an awesome guy"; yes he is.  

Feb 10: Revolution Calling is disbanded.  Solar Fire may or may not continue.  Revolution Calling members have decided to go onto other things. We had a great time at the Dec. 30th gig and a video excerpt will be available on this website possibly by the end of February. We are all very glad we did the gig & had this great experience. Experience has shown us to take advantage of opportunities as they arise (getting the gig done before lives have a way of changing direction). When the band situation is a hobby it's take a lower priority than other more important things of life. When life presents changes decisions have to be made as to where effort & time goes. I am yet undecided about which direction of music, or if I will stay with Solar Fire. If items such as a proper sound system can be guaranteed for future gigs that would take the largest load off of my mind for performances.  The lack of adequate sound systems in the previous gigs does not entice me to continue working within those confines. There's lots going on in my life right now (recovering from surgery, doing a writing course & other things that may be occupying my time coming up) & the musical direction is yet to be seen. Gerald & Joel have gone onto forming another band. Rick is working on his original project. Justin is taking a break until possibly the spring due to work. I wish them all the best & look forward to seeing them perform in their new ventures. We might all get together in the future & jam......  The Revolution Calling myspace account has now been deleted.

Feb 7: My first CD sold to someone in South Africa and is on it's way there.  Cool! (Mar. 14th: added C.H.'s comment to the Comments page)

Jan 24: I had a didgeridoo session within a yoga class.  It was a wonderful experience.  The sound is very healing.
