Thomas Yee - guitars

Started playing guitar at age 14 (1970).  Formed my first band 'Via Satellite' at 17 then 'Soundchaser' in 1976 with my brother Ed (also guitar) and Stan Hui (TVRS bassist).   In 1979, after Ricky's band 'Heartbreaker' had broken up, Stan, Ricky, Sermond (Ricky's brother on drums), Dennis and I started a group called 'Alien'.   I also did a recording project with 'Parallel States'.  All original music with EP release in 1982 featured Susan (now with 'Front Page') on lead vocals.  Got married in 1986 and did not touch the guitar for 10 years.   One day in August, 1996, Patrick and Terry of 'Front Page' told me about a band looking for a guitarist. The band originally was called 'Connections'. Later was renamed 'Unknown Jerome'.   In 1997 'Reflection' asked me to fill in.  Two years later, 'Reflection' and 'Connections' joined up and formed '7th Avenue' and are still playing, most notably at our annual private New Years Eve event at a hotel in Vancouver.   In 1998, joined the Top 40 band 'Night Shift' through an ad in Georgia Strait and still playing with them.  In 2003, Victor Yong, Stan, Rolf Popp and I started TVRS.  Solar Fire happened around end of 2006.  I currently have all four bands on the go.  Still rockin' and shakin'.

Ricky Cheung - guitars

Has been playing guitar and singing for many years.  See Thomas info. above for band information.

Rolf Popp - drums

A Vancouverite since the age of 7, Rolf started drumming at the age of 12.  Influences include Ian Paice, Neil Peart, Carl Palmer and Buddy Rich.  Other bands in the past include Live She Cries.  Rolf's second band is the Queensryche Tribute band headed up by Tracy.

KenZ - bass & vocals

A Malaysian from Borneo to the United Kingdom to Vancouver, KenZ is a well traveled musician. At the age of 15 years old, he started his first band called 'Migration' at Ratcliffe Boarding College (England), and in Canada he was with a band called Kennedy Ann (Vancouver) & he has been in various bands since then.

Stephen Parker - keyboards & vocals

Stephen started playing in rock bands at the age of 12.  He got his first electric guitar and amp at 13.  He also took up piano and trombone at an early age.  Work, school and family commitments kept him away from performing for almost 30 years after graduating from High School.  He answered a Craigslist ad to 'jam' about 5 years ago, and got hooked on music again. A very versatile musician, he has recently played in diverse bands such as Soul/R&B,  Blues, Top 40 Pop Rock and heavy metal.  He performed at the River Rock last November as part of the house band for a Diabetes fundraiser. That set list included everything from The Carpenters to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.  Stephen, an accountant and retail business owner by day, currently plays keyboards in a Blues Band, and the Queensryche tribute band.  He also plays guitar and drums.
